Cost Free Blogging Services

If you are considering to construct a blog of your own, you are probably wondering how much this is going to cost you. The really good news for you is that there are many blogging services that are available to you free of cost. I strongly encourage you to go with well-established names for your blog rather than constructing from a start ups that may or may not be around this time next year. You have plenty to choose from and each one offers some unique features to suit your different needs as a blogger.

The best advice I can give you is to create or construct your blog with Blogger.com. I find their program very easy to deal with and I love the fact that their templates can be customized to my own design and preferences. With blogger, I guarantee a user friendly interface that does not require technical know-how to operate and maintain a blog. That's why Blogger became the most widely used and the most popular blogging service to date. One thing that many people find particularly wonderful about blogger is that it is very easy to set up your adsense account (will be further discussed in the succeedign articles) on your blog in order to monetize it. I really enjoy the wide range of tools that are available and the security that you're in good hands.

Wordpress is another wildly popular blogging service. This particular service was once only available to those who had their own hosting and many people chose not to go with Wordpress for this reason alone. That has recently changed and you no longer need your own hosting in order to use their services. One of the things I really like about Wordpress is the wide array of themes from which you can choose. There are some very nice themes you can incorporate into your blog as well as all kinds of neat gadgets and gizmos. I love playing with all the bells and whistles and Wordpress seems to have plenty. Of course, the gadgets and fun buttons to play with can prove to be quite distracting from the business at hand.

Another popular blogging service provider is Livejournal.com. Livejournal is the second most popular free blogging site on the internet today. As the name suggests, if you are looking for a personal blog to write about your daily life, you have got what you need. Overall, if you are looking for a place to write your dairy or daily musings, at the same time associate with like-minded people, LiveJournal is for you. Its responsive, integrated and interactive online community makes it a unique free blogging site.

Myspace is another great way in which you can host your blog. Myspace is much more than blog hosting; they are an actual blogging community that is also involved in social networking. This blogging network is a particularly great idea for those who already have friends on Myspace and/or are looking to make new friends during their online experience. Myspace is also an excellent way to improve your chance of getting page views as you network and make friends and acquaintances. Remember the ultimate goal of a blog is to have it read. This is one place where that is quite likely to happen.

An alternative for Myspace is Friendster. It functions in the same manner as Myspace such that you can create an account and socialize with your friends and have your own cost free blog. If you have more blogging requirements, you can always upgrade to avail for other services but you will have to pay for it. Like Myspace, if you already have a group of friend, you're most likely going to have instant readers. It is therefore important to make friends to the friendster community so as to take advantage of possible page views from members.

Regardless of the blogging service or community you select, your blog will be what you make it. Build your blog to be the best possible representation of you on the Internet, and then make it sparkle and shine. That should be the perfect voice from which to be heard.

The creation of a blog is not the end of your journey as a blogger. There are still a lot to do and learn. One challenge that you are faced now is how to establish readership, optimize you blog for the search engines, monitize your blog, improving content and connection etc.
