Professor Ernest Brennecke of Columbia is credited with inventing a sentence that can be made to have eight different meanings by placing ONE WORD in all possible positions in the sentence:

"I hit him in the eye yesterday."

The word is "ONLY".

The Message:

1.ONLY I hit him in the eye yesterday. (No one else did.)

2.I ONLY hit him in the eye yesterday. (Did not slap him.)

3.I hit ONLY him in the eye yesterday. (I did not hit others.)

4.I hit him ONLY in the eye yesterday. (I did not hit outside the eye.)

5.I hit him in ONLY the eye yesterday. (Not other organs.)

6.I hit him in the ONLY eye yesterday. (He doesn't have another eye..)

7.I hit him in the eye ONLY yesterday. (Not today.)

8.I hit him in the eye yesterday ONLY. (Did not wait for today.)....

As is well known - majority of the population in Malaysia , Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia etc., etc., are not Hindus –but they have the culture of respecting their forefathers who were Hindus -and also the Hindu Sanathana Dharma

which is unique and has no comparison.

Please see this beautiful exhibit – which is very meaningful and has a message to the Society.

Can we imagine putting up this kind of things in our Air Ports in India. There will be protests from so called secularists, minorities, pseudo secularists etc. etc. This is our culture .

MEANING OF THIS SAMUDRA MANTHANA :

As said in Devi Bhagawatha and Vishnu Purana - during the stage of Mother Earth formation – first mass of earth was in the shape of Koorma (Tortoise) which was formed out of series of churning in deep seas. Hence,symbolically first incarnation of Vishnu is called as Koormavatara'. After completion of this great churning process – both good and bad elements ( energies ) were released.................. This Koorma formation is nothing but GONDWANA (single mass of earth in first stage) – which was later, after millions & millions of years , disintegrated into different masses called " Continents" .

SO ALSO, VISHNU IS CALLED "ANANTHASHAYANA or KSHEERABDISHAYANA" . Meaning not Lord Vishnu is sleeping on Ocean of Milk. This is again a symbolic representation of Lord Vishnu in the form of Great Energy –spread across the Milkyway (cluster of Galaxies and infinite systems) .............

MAPPING THE COURSE OF HISTORY

A pre-Independence era map of India under the British published in the Illustrated Weekly in the early ’40s. The map has been carefully preserved by Sundaramma, a resident of Lakshmipuram area in Mysore. For some years, the map was folded and kept away. Only later, her husband, late A K Ranga Rao, decided the map will adorn their teapoy, where it has remained. The map details Baluchistan, Kashmir, Sind, Punjab, Rajputana, United Provinces, Central Provinces, Hyderabad, Bombay, Madras, Mysore and other territories of undivided India

Chennai Silks, a textile unit has come up with one of its kind and it is seeking an unmistakable entry into the Guinness Book of World Records for being the most unique and expensive saree.

The exceptionally stunning saree is meticulously woven with 12 precious stones and metals to depict 11 of Raja Ravi Verma's popular paintings.

Explicitly projected is 'Lady Musicians', one of the painter's very famous works that displays women belonging to diverse cultural backgrounds.

Besides, the border of the saree pictures 10 other paintings of the artist that pays tribute to 20th century artist.

The best part of the saree being that the women in the paintings are intricately hand-woven and beautified with jewels of gold, diamond, platinum, silver, ruby, emerald, yellow sapphire, sapphire, cat's eye, topaz, pearl and corals.

Already in the Limca Book of Records, this 40 lakh saree will be the first silk saree that required the use of 7,440 jacquard hooks and 66,794 cards during the weaving process. Moreover, a group of consummate workers took nearly 4,680 hours .
